Terms of use

A free tool with no account and no payment, so these are short.

Using the site

Rusty Tools is free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may use the commands it generates however you like, including in videos, guides and server documentation, with no attribution required. The commands themselves are just game console syntax and we claim nothing over them.

Please do not scrape the site in bulk, republish the item pages wholesale, or run automated traffic against it. If you want the underlying data, it is easier to ask — and the original sources are credited on the about page anyway.

Accuracy

Game data changes with every Rust update. We refresh ours and check it, but it can be out of date between updates, and the site is provided as is with no warranty that any item ID, recipe, yield or stack size is currently correct.

Practically, the worst case is a bind that queues the wrong quantity or nothing at all. Nothing here can damage your game installation or your account — but you are responsible for what you paste into your own console, and we are not liable for resources spent on a craft you did not intend. If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

No affiliation with Facepunch Studios

This is an unofficial fan project. Rust is developed and published by Facepunch Studios, who neither endorse nor are involved with this site. Item names, descriptions and artwork are the property of Facepunch Studios and are used here to identify items.

Nothing on this site modifies the game, injects code into it, automates input, or gives any gameplay advantage that the console does not already provide to every player. The tool produces a line of text. You paste it in yourself.

Advertising

The site carries third-party display advertising, which pays for hosting. We do not control which ads appear and do not endorse them. What advertising means for your data is set out on the privacy page.

Availability

This is a personal project run by one person. It may go down, change, or stop being updated, and no uptime is promised. The bind maker runs entirely inside your browser, so if the site does go away, a tab you already have open will keep working.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
