Privacy

The short version

• No accounts, no logins, no email addresses, no payment details.
• We never store your IP address.
• We record anonymous usage of the bind maker, including which items get put into binds. It is not linked to you as a person.
• Google serves the ads on this site and sets its own cookies. That part is Google, not us, and you can opt out of it directly with them.
• You can switch our own data collection off with one line, and the tool keeps working normally.

What we collect

When you use the bind maker, it sends us a small anonymous record of what was built. Specifically:

• The contents of the bind — which items you selected, the quantity for each, and the resulting craft count. This is how we learn which items people actually use, which is what tells us what to improve.
• A two-letter country code, supplied by our hosting provider from the connection. Country only, never the IP address it was derived from, and the IP is never written down anywhere.
• A random session identifier, generated in your browser and kept in that browser only, so that a single visit is not counted several times. It is a random number. It is not derived from anything about you or your device, and it never leaves your browser except attached to these records.
• Whether the bind was copied or abandoned, and roughly when.

That is the complete list. There is no name, no email, no IP, no device fingerprint, no advertising identifier, and no cross-site tracking of any kind in our own collection.

What we do with it

It goes to a private feed that the person who runs this site reads, and to a running tally of aggregate counts — how many binds were made, which items are most popular, which countries visitors come from. It is used to decide what to build next.

It is not sold, not shared with advertisers, not fed into any ad targeting, and not given to anyone else.

Turning it off

Open the browser console on binds.rust-app.com and run:

Nothing further is sent from that browser. Every feature of the tool continues to work exactly as before — the opt-out disables collection, not functionality. Clearing your browser storage will also clear the session identifier, and the opt-out along with it.

Advertising

This site is free and is funded by display advertising. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site, and Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies more broadly at aboutads.info/choices. Google's own description of how it handles data from sites that use its services is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We do not control what Google collects, and we do not receive personal information from it — only aggregate earnings reporting.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests to serve pages and for security purposes such as blocking attacks, which involves handling connection data including IP addresses at their edge. That is their processing, described in the Cloudflare privacy policy, and none of it is retained by us.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Since we collect no personal information from anyone, there is nothing here to request the deletion of — but if you have a concern, please write to us.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data, there is no account to export and no profile to delete. If you would like the anonymous usage records associated with your browser session removed, send us the session identifier — it is visible in your browser storage under rt-sid — and it will be deleted.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. We are not going to quietly start collecting more than is listed here.
