Reporting wrong game data
Rust changes between updates, and when a recipe is rebalanced or an item ID changes our data goes stale until someone notices. If a bind did not do what the site said it would, that is worth reporting, and it is the fastest way to get it fixed.
Useful things to include, if you have them:
- The item name, and the page you saw it on.
- What the site said — the item ID, recipe, yield or stack size.
- What the game actually does.
You do not need all three. Even “the buckshot bind crafts the wrong amount now” is enough to send someone looking.
Feature requests
The bind maker is actively worked on and suggestions do get built. If there is a command you want it to generate, or something about the interface that gets in your way, say so.
Privacy and data requests
We hold no personal data, no accounts and no email addresses, so there is generally
nothing to export or erase. If you want the anonymous usage records tied to your browser
session deleted, include the identifier stored under rt-sid in your browser
storage. Details are on the privacy page.
Advertising and business
This site is funded by display advertising and is not for sale, but if you have a genuine business enquiry the same address reaches us.
What we cannot help with
We are not Facepunch Studios and have no connection to them. Anything about your Rust account, a ban, a purchase, a server you play on, or the game itself needs to go to Facepunch or to your server administrator — we have no visibility into any of it and no ability to act on it.
